We talk to Emmet J. Scanlan about Hollyoaks, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and The Fall

In depth article where Emmett discusses the past year and future projects, definitely worth a read.

The Fall series 2 to shoot 6 episodes in Belfast

The Fall and In the Flesh make “Best of 2013 TV” lists

As the end of the year approaches many of the major media and entertainment sites are counting down the best TV shows of 2013.

The first series of The Fall, in which Emmett appeared as DC Glen Martin, has featured at #9 in The Guardian’s Top 30 TV Shows of 2013 and made #18 in Digital Spy’s Top 25 run down. With the second series filming in Belfast in 2014 we look forward to it and hopefully seeing more of Emmett as Glen.

In The Flesh’s first series rated highly on Digital Spy as #11 on their list and with a longer series beginning next year and Emmett playing undead discipline Simon you can just tell it’s going to be even better.

2014 is going to be a great year on TV for us Emmett fans.

He’s picking his post-soap projects well, appearing alongside former co-star Bronagh Waugh in The Fall. So good we’ve bent the rules and put an Irishman in.Next Up: As well as the second series of The Fall, he will star in independent movies Lapse and Patrick’s Day.
